Piper Brown lives in a world where you can talk to your soul mate telepathically. Almost everyone in her class has met their soul mate expect for her, her childhood friend, and a couple of loners. Where she is right now means she hasn't met her soul mate yet, or she's forever alone. Everything feels terrible and things get even worse when a guy named Jay Davis moves into her neighborhood and becomes her classmate. Her friend wonders if Jay is Piper's soulmate and she thinks she should totally go for him! She also wonders if he's her soul mate but she's too scared to try talking to him telepathically because what if it actually works and he ends up not liking her back? What if he leaves him because of how disappointed he is? What if she dies alone? Anxiety comes crashing at her whenever she thinks about him. How will she get through this? Then you have to bodyguard Stolas, apparently your childhood friend, who continuously bothers you, with Blitzo (your other childhood friend) scowling at the back of him. There is also a demon duel, but we'll save that for later. However, then on, Blitzo and Stolas ask you to 'accompany' them to Ozzie's, and you accept...or do you decline? From there on, drama starts happening.
