Evangeline Drierdan had lead a relatively quiet life. She had friends she trusted, grades that would take her places, and a good family life. She never stuck out as far as anyone was concerned. Always another face in the crowd. Always able to blend in. To put it quite simply, Evangeline was ordinary.
That is, until James Lawson walked into her life.
James was a golden boy. Freshman year he was set on a path for greatness. Adored by the student population. Smart as hell. Rich parents. No question about it, everyone knew James was going places. Until he dropped off the grid two weeks into Sophomore year.
No one knew where James went. His friends tried calling him for days. No answer. All of his social media accounts were gone. His parents refused to answer any questions. After a few months pretty much everyone accepted that James was just gone.
But when he reappears for Junior year, people jump to start asking all their unanswered questions. Where did James go? Why is he back now?
And when Evangeline winds up tangled into James' life, will it be a change for the better? Or for much much worse?
