So a little background of this Phanfic, so this is about a Merman, Phil, a little boy that loves to explore the ocean, Dan and a Homophobic friend of Dan's, I named him Joseph. One day Dan goes out of the house to find some shells on the beach, he then goes in the water to see if their is any in the ocean, he goes inside and guess what he finds...A MERMAN!!(PHIL) Dan got really curious so he went a little closer, Phil then came closer aswell, but then Dan herd someone call for him, it was Joseph, he got scared and Phil swam away, but then Dan noticed that he dropped something so he picked it up and took it with him...FIND OUT WHAT COMES NEXT LADS!!

Barely any money and deadbeat parents, he lives in a bad neighborhood in a gross apartment with cat hair covering the carpet and an odd roommate. And then Dan's parents decide he needs to love someone rather than himself, and when Phil shows up at his mansion steps, Dan's parents grow fond of him- so much that the two are exchanging rings and Phil is moving in with his new spouse. They tell Dan he should give it a few months, to be patient, and if he still doesn't like him then they'll sign the divorce papers and call it quits. Marriage isn't perfect, right? Well this one is the exact example. But they could always pretend.

It's high school, and Dan has always been home schooled. When he gets to his new school as a freshman, he is instantly pushed aside as an outcast. The whole reason he was put into public school was his parents were moving away to live with his grandfather who was sick. So, he was to live with his dad's friend who also had a son his age. Phil was also an outcast, but he got along alright in school. Having to live with Phil and Phil's dad who was gone half the time, Dan and Phil get to know each other quite well. They soon bond over many things and Dan realizes he has feelings for Phil. But will Phil feel the same way? Will it work out? Or will Dan find someone else through the ups and downs? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~•3•~~~~~~~~~~~ This is my first Phan-fiction. Reading other ones gave me ideas.
