Evie was the new girl. Ryder was the bad boy. New girls are bound to be nervous but Evie was more nervous than most would be. Evie wasn't smart. Actually, she was quite the opposite. Evie has just moved to Valley View High but that wasn't the problem. Someone was following her. The last thing she wants is to fall in love. Ryder was your typical bad boy. He knew just how to push buttons but not far enough to get into a lot of trouble. He has a lot of problems at home but is extremely smart. All the girls want to be with him. All the boys want to be him. Ryder just wants to find the one. You know, the one to put a stop to his bad boy image. Will they fall in love or will Evie's past come back to haunt her?

Complete! "You know I really like you, right?" He was definitely drunk. "You do?" I asked. My voice was supposed to be teasing, but I think it came off as a bit startled. He laughed, "Yeah, why else would I trust you with all my secrets?" -- Betty was many things; a romantic, a fashion designer, a bit more jealous than the average girl, great with a camera, a helpful daughter and a good friend. But she was best known for being nice. And usually, the boy did not want the 'nice' girl. But this summer she was going to prove to Mike, her crush since FOREVER, that nice was enough. She was going to have an amazing summer, a perfect Junior year, and finally have her first kiss. It was a foolproof plan. Moving from her childhood home in Arizona to New Mexico at the start of Junior year was never a part of Betty's plan. But sometimes when parents are involved, plans change. So now the nice girl had to start over at a new school in a new State. And when the (maybe not so bad) bad boy, Eli, gets involved, it might be hard to be known as 'the nice girl'.
