Shawn Carter has had nothing short of a rough life, from growing up in the Marcy Projects of Brooklyn, New York, to becoming one of the biggest drug dealers New York has ever seen. It seems as if his criminal ways have finally caught up to him when he's busted and has to serve two years in the pin.
Beyoncé Knowles is a correctional officer at Green Haven Correctional Facility. Despite the job being no short of interesting and challenging at all times, she loves what she does. She's not there to abuse the inmates, she aims to help them realize that there is far more out there in the world than selling drugs and killing.
At some point, Shawn and Beyoncé have developed a friendship, but what happens when Shawn is released into the real world again? Will things be different?
This is my first story, and I am very nervous! I have enjoyed Wattpad for a few years now, and have always thought about writing my own story. I have finally gained the courage to do so! So without further a do, please enjoy!
