In a kingdom where dragons have returned and a king is in desperate need of help, the sole survivor of the once mighty Dragonhunters offers the king his aid and proceeds to train many men and women to fight the monstrous beasts. Among these men and women is a young orphan named Sym, who is tired of working the fields and can't stand idly by as dragons plague the lands. Against the better judgement of his sister Freya, Sym joins the volunteers under the wing of Sagon Cindermark, the last of the Dragonhunters. While Sym may not be the most esteemed of fighters Sagon takes him in as more than a volunteer and makes him his apprentice. Together and accompanied by many others they seek to cleanse the kingdom of the dragon menace, but as they soon find out there is more to the dragons than merely their return. When faced with hardships and emotions can Sym hold to his righteous beliefs and not forget the training he had received? Will Sagon stay true to his word to the king? What darkness resides in these lands for the dragons to once again arise?

So much so he becomes her second on the fencing team. It's not until he hears of a murder of a fellow student that his interest is piqued and he starts investigating only to cross paths with Wednesday during her investigation. Where Lord Elrond's firstborn was the evening star, his second born was the morning star. Blessed with the ability to call on the light of the dawn, Allora is a paragon of hope as she sheds light on a growing darkness. And as the tenth member of the Fellowship of the Ring, she journeys with them to destroy the One Ring for good and rid the lands of Middle-Earth of the darkness and evil of Sauron, the very being her father fought over 3000 years prior. Where he fought at the start of the battle, his daughter will fight for the end. But through all this fighting and all this darkness and light; through being the ray of hope for everyone else, Allora finds a ray of hope for herself. A ray of hope that takes form in her Elvish companion, Legolas. Facing darkness from the likes of which she's never seen and feelings from the likes of which she's never felt, it's safe to say that this battle is going to be harder than any that Allora has ever fought before in her long life.
