In a kingdom where dragons have returned and a king is in desperate need of help, the sole survivor of the once mighty Dragonhunters offers the king his aid and proceeds to train many men and women to fight the monstrous beasts. Among these men and women is a young orphan named Sym, who is tired of working the fields and can't stand idly by as dragons plague the lands. Against the better judgement of his sister Freya, Sym joins the volunteers under the wing of Sagon Cindermark, the last of the Dragonhunters. While Sym may not be the most esteemed of fighters Sagon takes him in as more than a volunteer and makes him his apprentice. Together and accompanied by many others they seek to cleanse the kingdom of the dragon menace, but as they soon find out there is more to the dragons than merely their return. When faced with hardships and emotions can Sym hold to his righteous beliefs and not forget the training he had received? Will Sagon stay true to his word to the king? What darkness resides in these lands for the dragons to once again arise?

I have restarted this book. I wanted to make it easier to read and more enjoyable. I hope to make shorter chapters and update frequently. :) In the beginning Sylar has no name. No one cares. She's just another kid to fall into a system because she was an unwanted mess. A child that doesn't talk? Yea, no one care about that either. A shady group home filled with bullies and secrets? Yea, you guessed NO ONE CARES! To find friends in a place like this is unlikely. This place is built to feed off the fears of kids and their lack of parental role models. No one holds on to dreams for long in a place like this. You get placed here and you are as good as forgotten. Except when a couple shows up looking as out of place as an astronaut in a gold mine or a miner in space whichever one you prefer. This couple comes and shakes things up. A Wings Of Fire story that takes place in the depths of the Sky'wing Kingdom, following the story of a powerful hybrid dragonet who has to fight in the infamous arena regularly for most of his life, until... ? This a story based on the book series Wings Of Fire, obviously. In this universe, most of the canon events didn't happen, and are instead replaced by my own original stories and characters. No canon characters from the books exist in this world. There is at least one fantribe in this world, that fantribe belonging to me. Mud'wings don't exist in this world, because i have an unexplained hatred for them. Wednesday's Dragon King
Nevermore Academy. A sanctuary for outcasts. Vampires, werewolves, syrens, gorgons, etc. Is about to be burned to the ground (Well in a way). By a couple of new students. Daniel, being kicked out of ten boarding schools, his father with a little convincing and prodding from his mother enrolls him in her alma mater. When Daniel meets Wednesday the first day, things are a little tense as he's the second new roommate for Enid. In fencing class, she meets her match with the English-born transfer student. So much so he becomes her second on the fencing team. It's not until he hears of a murder of a fellow student that his interest is piqued and he starts investigating only to cross paths with Wednesday during her investigation. Will the two amateur detectives figure out who or what killed their fellow student? Can an Addams and a Dragon King get along long enough to work together? Mizu is desperate. Even though he farms rare plants in the sea, his family is poor because they always use the money on things like repairs, supplies and food. They need money, and a lot of it, to keep afloat. If he doesn't get that, then they'll have nowhere to stay. Kitty is scared. After being taken captive by the orcs, she doesn't exactly know what to do. Maybe they'll take her back to the kingdom that she ran away from. There's quite the bounty on her head, and evading the guards is her best chance to get away. When a random teenager gets thrown in with her, he convinces her to help him. Now she'll have to face her father's wrath when she gets back home. The monsters keep coming. Along with the weird actions of the people in the different kingdoms, monsters of all shapes and sizes seem to be chasing Mizu and Kitty, though they seem intent on simply Mizu. Now, on top of evading guards, they have to fight with these demons that just don't quite want to leave. Neither of them expect the outcome. When they get back to Kitty's home, the unexpected happens, and Mizu is thrust into an entirely different situation than what he thought. Now he doesn't know what to do as his life is on the line. When he finally makes a decision, he later realizes the mistakes that he now has to pay for. Join Mizu and Kitty on this funny and amazing journey of twists and turns, running through rough terrains and fighting epic battles.
