I left my pack. Finally after much persuasion, I decided to come back, well-just for the annual summer alpha gala. And that's when it all changes.

Odetta has spent the last few years
running from her past. From a mate that
rejected her and a family that wants to help her.
She's perfectly content living away from them and trying to heal until she decides to go back home. Just for a bit.

In comes the handsome Alpha Casper,
a man she can't seem to stand, and his son,
a little boy sweeter than honey itself. Could they
be the prefect distraction from a broken heart?

I am rudely interrupted by a deep "Excuse me?" that comes from behind me and the scent, that I smelt this morning as I came into college, hits my nose again. My wolf starts running in circles in my head and repeating "Mate, Mate." I spin around and I am standing face to face with my alpha, Alpha Jackson. I quickly think of something to say "A Alpha, is there s something you n need"? I stutter in fear. He is the most feared Alpha in this country and he never speaks to anyone of our rank. If he does, you know you're in trouble. "I need to speak with you" he demands. He leads me to a classroom where apparently he's allowed and no one else is in. He stops, turns around, leaning on the teacher's desk and says, "Is it true that you are my mate?" I just swiftly nod. He looks at me, his eyes moving up and down, as if analysing me and then a look of disgust appears on his face, "I can't accept you, you are far too weak and ugly to be the Luna of this pack. I Alpha Jackson reject you Brooke as my mate" his tone of voice void of sorrow or remorse. He exits the classroom and as I am left standing in the classroom, shock evident on my face followed by tears streaming down my face. I soon exit the classroom and I see him with the queen bee, the school's queen that always get's what she wants. He slithers his hand around her waist seductively and kisses her passionately. I could not watch anymore, the sight just breaks me, as more and more tears erupt like a waterfall form my eyes. I turned for the door and bolted. I ran as fast as my legs could carry me, all the way home. ... After being rejected by the Alpha of her pack, Brooke is heartbroken and has lost faith in finding love. However a chance to move to America and stay with her father's sister and her family opens a new opportunity for her. Will she have a second chance at love? Read to find out.

Hiding from my Mate (COMPLETED)

25 parts Complete

When your mate is an Alpha and you're the rogue that causes all the trouble, you can't exactly go up to him and say "How's it going big guy! Even though I've been causing trouble in your pack and school, I'm sure you'll love to know that I'm your destiny for the next fifty years until you end up 6 feet under." So no. I wasn't going to tell him that I was the future Luna of his pack. Who in their right mind would do that? Unfortunately, matters of the heart is something the brain doesn't seem to understand. ** © alw_13 All rights reserved *Cover picture found on Google images, edited.
