The Jewel of Ages

Many thought the Hero had retreated into hiding.
Many others thought the Hero had finally given up on his never-ending quest and departed from the kingdom altogether.
And few still believed the Hero had perished at the hand of some evil entity only the Goddesses could hope to defeat.
And yet, only one of those notions held some level of truth to it.
The Hero had been living in hiding amongst the Sheikah, honing his abilities to move undetected in the shadows, making darkness his friend. Although wary and skeptical at first of the Hero's presence in light of the recent war tensions between the Hylians and Sheikah, they soon came to accept him as one of their own, and the village Grandmasters began teaching the Hero the ways of the shadows.
