Hunters. Not much is known about these ruthless killers except for that they have a bone to pick with the Division. Well what if the Hunters were the third wave of division agents sent in to eliminate the first and second wave agents because they found out what really happened with the Green Poison. This story is based off of a theory I heard about that what if the Hunters with a few tweaks.

Cas and Dean are seniors in high school and they've been best friends since they were five years old. They know everything about one another, or so Dean thought. During a dangerous case with Sam and Dean something goes wrong and Castiel goes missing, this isn't like the other times Cas has disappeared, this is different, it's strange even for Cas. With Castiel gone Dean doesn't eat or sleep he just drinks and prays wondering if Cas can hear him. Day and night he checks the newspapers and police reports from every city, and county in the US for any sign of the trench coat angel. With no leads things become even more bleaker. Dean throws himself down a hole, and Sam is becoming increasingly worried about about Dean so he seeks out help from from another angel to see if they know anything about the whereabouts of Castiel. Castiel is lost he doesn't know where he is or who he is. He just goes where his feet take him. He gets fragments of things every so often but they are of pain and torture and a redhead he doesn't know the name of.
