Raiden is in dire need of new protectors for Earthrealm, due to the deaths of Liu Kang and Kung Lao. His search ends when he begins to train once bitter rivals who are now allies. Mortal Kombat and its characters are property of Ed Boon and Netherrealm studios. I am simply a fan and do not wish to claim it as my own. Also this is just an idea I had for a story that takes place after MKX, or Mortal Kombat 10, that focuses on my two favorite characters in the series. Wrote this before MK11 was announced. Following Jaune's demise, he was forced out of Beacon and abandoned by everyone who knew him because his fake transcripts were leaked into the public world. Jaune was transported into the Mortal Kombat universe, where he became one of the most skilled warriors amongst the Lin Kuei. After he refused to aid Kronika and was sent into the void, Jaune escaped alongside Shang Tsung, Nightwolf, and Fujin. Now, he and his allies must travel back in time and save the timeline. But Jaune will realize that not all people are who they appear to be. (Important: The original creator of this story is Arcanus the Scribe. He and I were planning on rewriting it together. However, he is currently struggling with personal issues and has allowed me to continue it.)
