"Well hey there handsome, what can I get you?" I asked the boy in front of me, plastering on that oh-so-fake smile I had carefully crafted. 

He turned his gaze on me and for a split second I forgot how to breathe. He was gorgeous, like 'straight out of a magazine cover' gorgeous. His gaze trailed lazily to the drinks behind me and then snapped back to my eyes.

"Whiskey," he replied in voice as smooth as honey. "Also, drop the compliments. You don't mean them, so don't waste your breath."

I stood for a second in shocked silence then slowly started to smile a real smile. 

"Alright then, just whiskey? Shot or glass?"

"Glass, and fill it to the top."
