Two months after the events of the first novel, Jack, John and the rest have been working hard together as a team to prepare for the upcoming threat that the Portal Jumper without a face told them about. But many are seeing the city's newest "Protectors" as reckless overpowered children. With Jack's  dangerous abilities being unleashed to the team, how will the city and the Spies react to defending a city that doesn't want them?

This is placed in the Risen Muti-verse and as such is connected to the Risen Books, and Pheonix Force book. Keep your eye out for nods, hints and reappearing characters from those novels :)
