5 years ago, a rift opened up in the Atlantic. A bottomless waterfall, radiating light. A day after it opened, the first Gifted appeared. A man with power over the Earth itself, who brought down half a city. Since then, more and more ordinary people go to sleep normal one day and wake up the next to find that they have extraordinary gifts. For them, the planet's governments created schools for gifted children, separate from the others, or in other countries, they outlawed the Gifted entirely. Such is the nature of humanity. This story is after 200 years from the time of Rod Mason. Mankind, with all the wonders being bestowed upon Rod, has now reached their colonization throughout the solar system where they have now settled upon it. Though being bear witness to new things about the universe, mankind has yet to learn from their mistakes and yet start anew, with another journey to unfold. Jason Wild, another ordinary person, is now being subject to human experimentation in secrecy by a company unknown. She pretended and lied that the baby was with a grey-eyed man. 8 months later a baby girl was born. Not with just grey eyes. Or green. They were green, grey, blue and brown. They were mixed. They call her different, unique and she has all the powers. She is me. June."

In an alternate timeline, the human race found a way to create superpowers. By extracting energy from stars and inserting that energy into humans, 'powers' were created. Powers allowed humans to gain unnatural abilities such as flight, invisibility, super strength or in other words, superpowers. Of course, with the introduction of something so revolutionary, people rose up in the hundreds of thousands in an event known as the Great Rebellion. The insurgents banded together under a single banner and became collectively known as the Shadow, marking the beginning of the Cosmic Wars. Out of the darkness, the Gazers were born. Using what remained of the power technology, the Gazers singlehandedly perished the evil and ended the conflict. However, there was a price to pay. Powers put a toll on the human body and had serious mental and physical repercussions. The solution was to recruit children from the age of 13 to 18 and train them so their bodies would adapt to their powers, eventually becoming immune to all negative side effects. The end of the Cosmic Wars brought forth a new age of peace and prosperity that the world had never seen before. However, the long reign of the Gazers has already begun to crumble, cracks showing up within the very thread of society. Their rule will not last for much longer. The Shadow will rise once again. There are a million possibilities. Possibilities that we don't get to travel. Possibilities that we don't get to see. Possibilities that can cause even the smallest changes. My possibility, well, let's just say that gifted teenagers, biological experimentation, mutants from another world and worldwide panic are a part of it and it's up to me and my friends to save it. I am no longer writing in this story, I became unhappy with how it came out but I am rewriting it because I fell in love with the idea so much so if you are new or recurring I ask you to read the new version I have coming out. A man had been stasis long in the ruins of an enslavement corporate building had awaken when the goddess herself noticed him. And Lily given tasks to Nero to begin his journey to the 'Void' and mess upon the world itself. She gifted him a weapon. A gun in his hand. He did not ask further as to why, or rather in later times but assess the situation in hands before hitting the road. Then started his way to adventure himself, all from his given purpose and goals by the goddess Lily. To sort out the mess and to discover past lores. From ruins, cities to unknown places.

My curse just gave them a reason. You see, the normal population with ordinary DNA, they don't know about the people like me. The roaches of the world. We don't get that kind of recognition at the camps. There, we are only one thing in the military's eyes. We are weapons and we will act like it. Everyone else out there, bathing in the goodness they don't know they've got, they don't know about the roaches their stepping on. As long as their getting closer to the sky, they don't care what they stand on to reach it. They don't know about the sparkling dreamer that's killed 7 people before her 17th birthday. They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe. They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow. They don't know about the masked villain who would do anything to see the army they lead claim the throne They don't know about us. But they will, because we will rise.
