Sam finds a large ostrich egg in the corner of her secret hidden cave. Well, she thinks it's an ostrich egg. It's a real big egg. It might even be bigger than an ostrich egg. It is bumpy and a little bit gray and black. She made sure there wasn't any birds hanging around before bundling it up in her over shirt. She didn't want to be accused of bird napping! Of course, she bundles it up safely in her gathering pouch and takes it home. What happens two weeks later, when it starts to hatch?
