Cartman and Heidi haven't really been having the best relationship. Kyle saw this and kinda took pity for Heidi because she was actually a great person. So when he finds Heidi all alone in the neighborhood, he goes to her and tells her that she shouldn't be with Cartman anymore. With a bit pity for the girl, he asks Heidi to date himself instead of Eric.
The aftermath was horrible, Cartman gets a face to face break up with Heidi and he thinks it's all Kyle's fault. Thinking this, he blackmails Kyle to break up with Heidi so he can be with her again.
During this whole fiasco, Stan has been catching feelings for Kyle. He and Wendy had went off again and he realizes this would keep happening. He then decides that he wouldn't be with her or anyone as his heart has been broken many times.
But something bad is boiling in the town of South Park. They will yet to find out what's going on and will have to work together to solve this problem.
