Lauren is someone who has to deal with an alcoholic of a father. And a workaholic of a mother. So pretty much she takes care of brother Max who is just 3 years younger than her. Lauren is 17, Max is 14. They have been dealing with name calling and a LITTLE physical abuse since Lauren was 13 and Max was 10. The older they get the worse things are . Because of her father being a alcoholic, him and there mother fight... Constantly. Lauren doesn't know what do do anymore. She doesn't stop doing what she normally does at school which is learn and be happy with her friends. But as the fights get worse she starts to feel lonely. But that's until she meets Noah in the school library. Will Noah be her key to happiness? Or will she stay lonely forever and not tell anyone her problems?
