Casey's only reminder of the only person who ever loved him, is the small tattoo of a white bird on his right wrist.

To him it indicates the last remnants of his past, and his only way to escape the town he calls home, a place that has enslaved him for the past twenty years, and where a silent war wages, between Mexican Americans and Whites.

His small cattle town is just but a run down pit stop in the middle of nowhere south Texas, and he dreams desperately of the day he can race away, in the only thing in that town he loves. His mysterious car.

Bought from a random passerby for a mere three hundred dollars, it was by far his pride and joy. Though it was a little strange, it's hidden talents lay under its hood. It was easily the fastest car in the town.

Casey finds himself biting off more than he can chew when the car starts behaving strangely, and he comes to realize there's something more to life than just leaving the place he calls home.

It's about partnership, about trust, and about finding friendship in the most unlikely of places.

Casey's world completely flips upside down when he learns the secrets of his mother's past, the reasons for her death, the truth of his father, and that his car has a mind of its own.
