The year was 1977. The First Wizarding War was really heating up. Tensions are high and danger lurks around every corner. People are making efforts to bright spots in the darkness, but it becomes increasingly difficult as time marches on. The staff of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry are trying their hardest to try to maintain the same air of pure magic, jovial nature, and light. Whether they are fully successful is up for debate. The staff this year, however, will have some help.

Lily Evans is entering her seventh year. She's 17 and has a shining future ahead of her. She thinks that her biggest challenges of the year would be her rigorous classwork in preparation for her N.E.W.T. exams, keeping up with her Head Girl duties, and putting up with the Marauders; normal stuff.
