The year was 1977. The First Wizarding War was really heating up. Tensions are high and danger lurks around every corner. People are making efforts to bright spots in the darkness, but it becomes increasingly difficult as time marches on. The staff of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry are trying their hardest to try to maintain the same air of pure magic, jovial nature, and light. Whether they are fully successful is up for debate. The staff this year, however, will have some help.

Lily Evans is entering her seventh year. She's 17 and has a shining future ahead of her. She thinks that her biggest challenges of the year would be her rigorous classwork in preparation for her N.E.W.T. exams, keeping up with her Head Girl duties, and putting up with the Marauders; normal stuff. The 22-year year old woman trapped in the body of her past self starts her first year at Hogwarts, but after a couple of months her memories of her past self start to fade. She gets more and more accustomed to her new life and soon forgets that she ever fell in love with James Potter or that her best friend will become a Death Eater. This story will take place during the marauders time at Hogwarts, all seven years and a couple years after, during the war. As you will notice, I made a few alterations that aren't aligned with the original story, but you will soon discover it's way more interesting to change the timeline a bit and put Lucius Malfoy and Ballatrix Black in the same school as the marauders.
