Yuri's Reflections: A DDLC Story

This is a Doki Doki Literature Club fanfiction.

(Main perspective comes from Yuri with POV's from the other characters including the player character, who will be referred to as "MC". Settings are the same as DDLC but will have my own little twist. This is an unfinished story that I will be updating over time, so please be patient and enjoy what I have so far.)

Yuri's life seems to suck as she states that her life at home and at school are not so good. She says she gets bullied at school because of the way she acts. She's known as the "weird" one because of how quiet she is, and how a rumor spread about how she has teacher/student relationship fantasies about her peers. Her friends Monika, Sayori and Natsuki swear they will be by her side no matter what, even if all the girls seem to dislike each other, they've been together for years, through thick and thin. They can't seem to stop being friends. They swear they have a strong bond. Monika and the girls decide to start a club on the first day of school, a Literature Club. Sayori decides to bring her childhood friend so they can be an official club. Everything seems fine at first but over the course of the semester, each of the girls start to change drastically, whether it's physically or a change in their poetry or habits.

This goes more behind the scenes of the game, and actually goes in depth of each of the characters lives. With Yuri being the main point, the other characters lives will be surrounding hers, giving the characters more detailed storylines.

Again this is a work in progress and will be updated. And please forgive me as I am not a very good writer, this is my first official story.

CHAPTER 1: * Tired from the endless cycle of deaths, and pain, MC believes it is all his fault that every one of his friends either dies or disappears. As the direct vessel of the player, he gains knowledge beyond that of even Monika. Enough to reset the world more thoroughly than Monika ever could. But at what cost? At his own cost of course. - "What if I never joined the club?" MC now holds, the pain of all the Dokis on himself, no longer bound to the player, how long can he hold on before everything collapses? Is there someone out there that can save him from his reality?* This story comes from the premise. What if MC was the one that was depressed, something that has appeared in other stories, but I felt like going a little more extreme, not sure if it has been done before. Some characters, like Sayori, may be slightly OOC, since she doesn't have depression here. CHAPTER 2: Yuri comes to terms with what she did to MC, what he did for her, and how she blames herself for the burden the boy forced himself to carry for her and the others, all while struggling to accept that it is too late for her. My Cupcake Natsuki x male reader
This story will sorta follow part of ddlc mostley with Sayori being your best friend, Natsuki's abusive dad, Monika being popular, Yuri and her self harm and maybe other stuff but I dont know yet. Because I have no ideas for this story yet, here are some TW you should probably watch out for: Suicide, Self harm, Abuse, Alcohol (Idk if thats how u spell it), and maybeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee a little bit of Just Monika? (aka someone might get murdered or I might play around with monika :)) And also I do not own Ddlc but there are some quotes from the game in here. Started: December 23 2020 Finished: Febuary 23 2021 I wasn't able to put as much in here as I wanted so that sucks but the story we have is pretty good I'd give it a 7/10 you should read it if anyone's reading this description.Complete
Our Literature Bond
Just a DDLC fanfic with nothing but my own perception of certain things. In the end, I just do this for fun. A little something you should know: this story is not based on the idea of everything being just a game, so everyone is as normal as possible, with their problems and all. It may be obvious, but none of the following characters belong to me: Yuu (the protagonist), Sayori, Natsuki, Yuri, Monika. Even so, the main character could be considered as my own when talking about personality since I completely changed it. But in any case, the credits for the main characters and the background concept go completely to Team Salvato/Dan Salvato. Also, credit to @XCpTE in Twitter for the original image of the cover. I'd like to have my own, but I'm not an artist to that degree, and I'm not planning on monetizing this story. If I do someday, which I doubt, I will change the cover.
Lazy Literature (DDLC)
Discover the life of Lazy, a young adult in the middle of college, about to graduate. He's a simple man, spending most of his time with video games, Youtube and the occasional guitar or piano practice, only to be dropped into a literature club with nobody but cute girls being apart of. He tries to forge friendship with them and has to overcome his introverted self to socialize. Perhaps he searches for something even greater than friendship? You might think that this is just a normal fan-fic about DDLC, but you'd be wrong. As normal as it seems, Lazy has a dark past and a mysterious future ahead of him. There's a lot to learn about this unseemingly dreadful, yet wholesome character in 'Lazy Literature'... New poems! New storyline! New characters! New stuff, awaiting you here! I Need You Darling | DDLC (Yandere Yuri x Male Reader)
*Finished but busy rewriting/editing. Keep in mind that some parts may have odd and inconsistent writing due to the fact they were done years ago, so now I'm just making them better and more readable (if I actually had the motivation to fix it).* A better description is simply put it like this: I relate to Yuri in many ways. I wrote this during a time that I wanted to start writing stories but the only outlet was wattpad aside from the drafts I'd only create in school. Now as I turn 17 I look back and notice how high my expectations and ideas were for this story after growing up with "Yuri" for so many years, and my my, the ambitions were definitely not to the levels I wished to reach. However, I am proud (and disappointed) with how some parts of the story turned out and I'm glad to have a fanfic rated highly within the ddlc charts!
