~"Dan. . . I miss you."~
Losing a mother was one thing, but losing a brother is another. For Morgan, she lost two most important people in her life. With only her father by her side, it's tough. After her brother passed away, Morgan felt the need to call her brother's old cell phone number, leaving him a voicemail every night because she felt this was her only connection to him.
What she doesn't know is when she calls, she is actually calling a student from her school. More specifically a well-known boy, Whose name is Tyler Hastings.
Tyler Hastings has a bad boy reputation that makes him be feared by all of high school. Except for one person and that was his best friend, who's the complete opposite of him. His name is Cole Del Valle. Cole is more of the nice guy and tries to control Tyler's anger when he loses it.
When Tyler receives those calls, all he wonders is "Who is Billie?" because when Morgan calls she always introduces herself as Billie. That's what her brother always called her.
And that's where our journey begins. Will Tyler find this mystery girl or will it be too late?

We've all heard about 'the main character'. The type of person who lives through the most dramatic and improbable situations, and finds the kind of epic romance you only see in works of fiction. Which makes you think about how unrealistic love like that is. I used to think the same thing until I met him. Until I met 'the bad boy' that, as it turns out, wasn't that bad at all, just simply...a boy. A boy with an easy smile, a charming personality and looks so enticing that I couldn't keep my eyes off of him if I tried. A boy whose shoulders were starting to slump with the weight of his past and his family. A boy who believed that the only way to survive was by putting a lock on his heart and chaining it down to a place so deep inside of him that no one could ever reach it again. A boy who, for reasons I'll never comprehend, placed the key inside my palm and didn't shy away when I tried to free his hidden heart from its restraints. A boy who made me the main character of my own story. A story I never want to forget, and which begged to be put on paper. 16 year old Danae's life is slowly going downhill with trying to get a job and get into college. His mum doesn't make it any easier though. She's hot headed and is always annoyed at Danae because he looks just like his dad, who his mum has just divorced. His best friend Eden is having problems with her boyfriend and Danae slowly develops feelings for her. They hang out and play video games once a week, which is the highlight of his weeks. He doesn't want to jeopardise his friendship by telling Eden he has romantic feelings for her, until he gives in shortly after their shared kiss. Btw I imagine Danae similar to Cole from the Netflix Series: My Life With The Walter Boys. And I imagine Eden to look like a brunette version of Sarah from Outer Banks.
