Violet is a normal seven-year-old girl. Or, perhaps, not so normal, when her parents show her the Golden Radiance, a beautiful golden flower with healing powers. However, two intruders come in and kill her parents, turning her world upside-down. 
	But then she wakes up in the hospital, where her parents are alive and well. In truth, it was just a dream caused by a horrible accident that nearly killed her. In fact, the accident was so horrible it caused her to stay in a coma for six years. Realizing this, Violet is completely relieved that whatever happened is just something of her imagination. 
	So what did her dream seem so realistic? And why can't she remember anything? One day, Violet overhears her parents talking, and learns the horrible truth. Slowly, she unravels all the secrets that she was never supposed to know.
