"What the hell do you think you are doing, Zolee," 

The vein in his throat starting to protrude as he got angrier due to my lack of awareness. 

" You've got to start paying attention to your surroundings! You are not fucking six years old, you have to take care of yourself, we are not always going to be around to watch over your dumb ass!" He yelled in my face, slightly spitting. 

I yank my arm out of his tight grip and face towards the intersection with cars zooming past. 

"Maybe I wanted to die, Zion." I say with tears rolling down my cheeks. I close my eyes and take a deep breath. I walk into the oncoming traffic.
