Not everyone is blessed with everything in life. Nothing is perfect in this universe; everyone has their own issues and problems, but it depends on the person as to how they are portraying their life in front of others. It also depends on the eye of the beholder as to how they perceive it.

Meet Khushi Gupta, daughter of Shashi and Garima Gupta; also the CEO of Gupta Designs. For media and the rest of the society, she was always the main attraction as she was the CEO of Gupta Designs. At such a young age, she gained a lot of fame as she made their company reach newer heights in 2 years only.

Many were jealous of her as they thought she was born with a silver spoon in her mouth since everything was laid out for her from the very beginning.

From afar it seemed like she had it all together in her life. A luxurious life, loving parents, supportive siblings and a ready-made company worth million dollars. Picture perfect life, right? Wrong! Khushi had everything except for one thing. If it was possible for her would have given up all the materialistic luxuries of her life for it.

Khushi Gupta, could never be a mother. Although we are living in the 21st century our society still doesn't accept someone like Khushi, as if it was her fault. Indirect taunts, unnecessary questions, bad behavior and the constant reminder of being barren are just a few atrocities one has to go through. Will Khushi be able to find her lost happiness or will she be stuck in this saga of sadness due to society's backdated mind set?

His heart was a fortress, haunted by the warmth he pushed away, scarred by the silence he forced between them, all because he believed she deserved more than the broken pieces he could offer. And, her heart was a battlefield, bruised by all the words he never said and all the love he refused to show. But no walls are unbreakable, and no heart can stay silent forever. Sooner or later, her war would reach his gates, and maybe, just maybe, he'd let her in. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Set in early 20th-century Delhi, it is the tale of Arnav and Khushi, two childhood companions bound by shared trauma and unspoken affection. As they navigated the complexities of societal expectations and pursued personal ambitions, their profound friendship quietly transformed into a love they dared not acknowledge. Amidst the fear of losing each other forever, they must confronted their feelings and weighed the risks of pursuing a future together, where happiness hung delicately in the balance. It is my first attempt at writing fiction. I might be wrong about certain aspects of that age and era, but it's a fantasy, so why not? I don't own Arnav and Khushi, and this story is purely fictional. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental. This story is a submission to the 13th Anniversary Arshi Fiesta 2024, according to the moodboard Historical AU on Tumblr.

It is a love hate story. When two people fall in love but their surrounding is just filled with hate... they do fight with their love but is it enough? Khushi is an orphan trying to find a job after her study, she doesn't know anything about her dark past, while Arnav is ...arrogant, rude business man, khushi started working for him, but he is not an easy person to please, her journey is long but then they both fall in love but after that she got to know that their pasts are joined in a very twisted way... ******** "I'm so sorry" I said "GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE" said that grey eyed man loudly... What the hell ...? "listen Mr. I said sorry OK ..I was in hurry... didn't notice you. So stop being so rude and let me go" as I tried to go away I again bumped into him ..What is his problem? "I said GET OUT" he shouted. "who are you to tell me that? I am here for an interview and I won't go without that. Now let me go"... Fate has twisted ways I must say, both of them never knew that they are the one who will save each other from their dark past....or they thought so... Warning: I have written this book a long time ago so it has mostly short forms and spelling and grammar mistakes. If you want a clear version, it is available on goodnovel and Amazon kindle.
