Sleepless {Twilight Saga}

Five thousand, twenty-five hundred, six thousand minutes in one year-- twice that in two, triple that in three; time becomes shorter when written out and you have to see it for what it is. Nothing more than a construct created to keep people from wanting more from life. When time seems so necessary, it makes life twice as hard because every moment counts. When you have endless moments at your disposal, you would think that it would be easier-- you no longer have to worry about the ongoing fear of your expiration date.

That is not the case. Life is just as hard when you don't have to worry about dying because only so much can happen, before your life turns into a pattern of the same thing. There's only so many unknowns in a world of possibility.

Chess can only be played so many times before suddenly, there is no more unknown possibilities.

That is the curse of immortality.
