Just because she is mute, does not mean she is weak. But if you are mute for many years, if there anyway they can speak again? This story is about a mute girl named Angel. She became mute after the death of her sister, and she can't help blame herself for this.

" It is funny how different people treat you when you can, or can not talk. It happened when I was eleven. I was home alone with my big sister, and there was someone who broke into the house. She was trying to protect me with her life. She told me to just be quiet and sit in the closet, and we can hide until the police came, she had called them before right before we hid. I don't remember all of it, I tried to push all of it out. It was my fault. "Anyone home?" The intruder had asked, trying to seem friendly as if he was lost and only walked through an open door. I could see the line of a gun in his hand and I screamed, my sister shoving her hand over my mouth. The guy grinned and walked over to the room me and my sister were hiding in, his shoes hitting the surface fast and hard. He reached his hand out and my sister pushed me into the floor, hiding me into a pile of clothes, jumping to push the man away from the closet. All I heard was a gunshot, and the sound of the police busting down the door. If I had not screamed, my sister would still be alive, the police would have been here to save us in time. It was my fault my sister was shot. My fault it killed her on impact as it hit her heart. I was such a stupid little kid.

She gave herself a year. He refuses to let her waste it. Mila~ One year. That's all I've given myself. One year to pretend I'm fine, to laugh when I'm breaking, to love him in silence before I'm gone. Because Jonah makes me feel things I swore I'd never let myself feel again-like hope, like warmth, like the terrifying possibility of forever. And that's why I can't stay. Because if I let myself fall completely, I'll shatter both of us when the year ends. Jonah~ She thinks she can keep me at arm's length. That her sharp words and slammed doors will make me give up. But I see her. I see every crack she tries to hide, every storm she walks into alone. Mila thinks she's running out of time. But I'm not letting her go-not when she's the only thing I've ever wanted to fight for. What if the person you hated most was the only one who could save you? Mila is seventeen and tired. Tired of fighting, tired of pretending, tired of believing she'll ever be enough. She's convinced she's unlovable and wants to end it all -until Jonah crashes into her world like an unwanted storm. He's loud, reckless, impossible. She's quiet, guarded, done. But life doesn't care that they're opposites. Somehow, they keep getting thrown together-and somehow, it starts to matter. As the chaos of growing up threatens to break them, Mila and Jonah might just learn that love doesn't always look like what you expect... and that sometimes, the right person is the one you never saw coming.

The daughter of Persinia has been alone all her life, tucked away in a forgotten corner of the imperial palace with her sole maid as she spends her days reading books and attending a mandatory ball once in a while. Life is quiet for the most part...that is, until one day, she stumbles upon a book in the library that predicts the future! And this one says she will die when a lost princess shows up in a few years and all of her siblings will kill her to protect their new, favorite sister! Now our princess realizes that if she wants to live, she has to be strong enough to do everything herself - wield aura to counter aura blades, wield magic to protect herself from magicians, and know alchemy to protect herself from a poison-happy consort of the emperor keen on making sure her son is the last one standing as heir to the throne. In an empire waging an eternal war against the darkness just to exist, our princess finds herself picking up new skills, new friends, new enemies, and a lot more importance in the palace than before all while trying to just make herself unkillable so she can live silently reading books. Will she be able to unravel all the mysteries of the world that she wants to, or will all of the tasks the emperor asks of her and the troubles she creates for herself keep her from existing in peace? Will she be able to escape the palace before the "silver lady" of that book appears, or is her death inevitable? Well...Mephie doesn't really care, to be honest. She just wants everyone to stop bugging her so she can finally finish the latest book she's been reading...especially those annoying knights...and, well, everyone else too.

So basically, you. Muzan's 14-year-old half-demon daughter (I know it's cliche but bear with me) who he doesn't know even exists, somehow ended up under the suspicion of being a demon, which you were, halfway. And it was decided that you would now be living with the famous insect hashira. Shinobu Kocho. In the Butterfly mansion until they found out whether you were a demon or not after the test they had prepared had failed. And though they would never admit it, they were basically holding you hostage and waiting by to kill you off. You refused quite a bit but you apparently had no say in it. Well, you might've not liked the fact that they were currently holding you hostage to figure out whether you were actually a demon or not before killing you after figuring out that you were a demon like Sanemi so wished to do so. There wasn't, much you could do in this situation. The most efficient solution you could think of to get them to leave you alone for the rest of eternity without spilling any blood was to lay low until their suspicion of you being a demon eventually died down and they allowed you to leave yourself. However... It seemed there were quite a number of Demon slayers who greatly disapproved of your stay here, or at least they were very wary of you. the most annoying one being Sanemi Shinazugawa. The reason was obvious enough. You were a demon. Which now made the biggest hassle you had to deal with, staying alive until that point. You have met quite a few demon slayers during your stay at the butterfly mansion, and though not many had been very pleasant. There were others you encounters with a few individuals who were... Strange, yet enchanting. The most interesting one yet, a minty-haired airhead. Trigger warnings: X Swearing X Gore X Violence X Grammer Mistakes X Death
