Former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Ray Lionne- known as the Lioness, has been trained from childhood with unique skills that has made her one of the top special ops agents to engage in surveillance and protection missions.
She is a ghost among men.
Ray's job is her life. But as she's grown as an formidable agent, her humanity and emotions have diminished away. Thick skin and thick headed, Ray has become robotic in her day to day life. Until she is presented with a mission.
Her new mission? To surveillance one James Buchanan Barnes as a request from an ally.
She takes the mission as easy work considering all she really has to do is follow around one man.
But as time goes on and she becomes more and more familiar with the former Winter Soldier, she becomes conflicted. Exposing herself to the rawness and truth of Bucky leads her to feel the one emotion she fears more than anything else, weakness.
Ray soon realizes that this may be her toughest mission yet. She's forced to deal with feelings and actions that she's disconnected herself from for so long. Ray must consider the repercussions should she give in to her humanity and fail the mission.
