Clay Jensen wanted nothing more than to be able to forget his past. But that seemed unlikely for the teenage boy as he kept reliving the traumatic event through unforgetable nightmares. The boy had seen things no teenager should ever have to see, and he went through something no young kid should ever have to go through.

Hannah Baker was new to town. She was the new girl at Liberty High School. One date with a seemingly nice Jock turned out to be the start to her downfall. She soon became the target of Liberty High's bullies as she soon became known as the class slut. It even goes as far as one of Liberty High's most well known jocks, Bryce Walker, raping her in his hot tub at his own party one night. That heartbreaking event sent her even further over the edge as she decides to do something she never thought the would think of doing.

But what happens if Clay Jensen gets to her in time? Will he save her life? Will he help her get through her rough times?

What if Hannah Baker found out about Clay's unforgettable past? Will she help him move on from his past experience?
