At the age of 20, Charlie Thompson moved from the calm serenity of Byron Bay to Bondi Beach in Sydney. Though she's a professional diver for Australia, she much prefers getting on a surfboard and riding some waves. As she trains for the upcoming World Championships and Olympic Games, she takes a keen interest in getting back in to lifeguarding like she used to in Byron. After saving a man from drowning while she was surfing at Bondi, she meets the boys in blue and realizes that she wants to use her expertise in the water to help keep the beach she calls home safe.
