Ragnarök The war of the gods The Valkyrie are running short of Einherjar, the souls of the valiantly slain in battle. These souls are incorporated into the god's armed forces. An armed force numbering in the countless millions that are just waiting for the call to battle, a battle of might and revenge against their opponents, the Jötnar giants and their offspring. But first the Jötnar must be brought into the fold to destroy an enemy that could vanquish them both with relative ease. The Valkyrie cannot allow any outside influence to disrupt their existence, an existence that has been teetering on the brink of war for countless years. [ SEQUEL TO FALL OF THE ELDEST] It's strange how it takes one message that sends things spiraling. Fate is a spiral to Ragnorok. The next major event is the new einherji, and the disappearance of a retired Valkyrie. When Magnus starts getting visions with Hel herself, and his closest friends begin to vanish, the son of Frey is called to another mission. But again, he won't be alone. Friends new and old join him on the seas again as death brings her own mischief to the table in hopes to bring Loki back and start the end of the universe. Stakes are high, lives at risk, precarious prophecies in demand, and why does Percy Jackson's oracle demand Freyson and his death? {Again, none of these characters are mine, except for OCs. They belong to Rick Riordan. Also, if you haven't read my other story, Fall Of The Eldest, make sure you do, you'll get more references. "Mother!" I called out, hoping for an answer. The screams of my people filled my ears. I felt tears go down my face as I begged for her answer. "Calliope! Big sister!" I cried, racing to the temple where I last saw them. Suddenly, I heard the chains of my father's weapon rattle. "Father!" I screamed, racing to the entrance of the temple and my eyes widened as I saw the horrific sight: bodies of the monks I used to play around with were slain and I saw as the hand of my mother's fall onto the stone ground. My big sister's limply looking leg was barely visible from the entrance. My eyes widened as I realized what had happened. I stared as the culprit began to mourn them and I glanced at my father's weapon, soaked in the blood of his victims. I was in shock, unable to speak, afraid that my father may kill me just like he did Mother and Calliope. I slowly backed away and threw down the necklace that father had crafted for me for that was no longer my father but a merciless murderer with a cold heart. I was in love with him. It wasn't even something I could deny anymore. That fear of losing him gripped me so tight I felt like I couldn't breathe. I really felt like crying, but I didn't. I was going to be strong for him when he wakes up. Like he always is for me. I put my hand in his, letting it disappear under his much longer fingers.
