Merlin was stranded in the woods as he had been attacked by Bandits, his mother was taken away and killed by them. They had been struggling for quite some time before Arthur had found him in the middle of the woods. He was then taken to Camelot, King Uther was still ruling the kingdom and Merlin didn't like him because they destroyed Ealdor - but he doesn't know that he was there.
Arthur wants to protect Merlin with his live; after he finds him, he gave him a job in order to make him stay here with the kingdom grounds so he wasn't going to get hurt again. What will happen once Arthur finds out that Merlin has magic? Merlin is destined to help Arthur but he wasn't sure how.
Soon enough, Arthur is starting to care for the boy too much and what will happen if Uther finds out? Time will tell for Merlin and Arthur.
