An elf king is killed and it's up to his daughter Aelic and his head Beren to figure out what to do next. Will she stay and fight for her fathers name, or will she run like her mother?

She is betrothed to the Captains son and Ryul I'd betrothed to the daughter of another noble family. This could be the end of their friendship and they may never get the chance to confess to each other. When war with an enemy clan breaks out and Lucille's father is killed she is brought into the post on of General as quickly as possible. She is torn from Ryul and put on the battle field where she is likely to die. Ryul has a choice. Disgrace his family and abandon his wedding to go and help Lucille, his childhood friend and true love, or bring his family honor and more wealth by marrying a woman he barely knows.Complete
