Ryul and Lucille are friends. They grew up together. Ryul is the child of a nobleman in the Elven kingdom and Lucille is The Army General's Daughter. She has been trained to protect Ryul since she was old enough to hold a weapon but that never stopped the two from finding time to play together or hang out when they could. She is betrothed to the Captains son and Ryul I'd betrothed to the daughter of another noble family. This could be the end of their friendship and they may never get the chance to confess to each other. When war with an enemy clan breaks out and Lucille's father is killed she is brought into the post on of General as quickly as possible. She is torn from Ryul and put on the battle field where she is likely to die. Ryul has a choice. Disgrace his family and abandon his wedding to go and help Lucille, his childhood friend and true love, or bring his family honor and more wealth by marrying a woman he barely knows.Complete

The King's Heart (Thranduil Fanfiction)
Being a king is hard. Raising a son is hard. Living with eternal grief is hard. King Thranduil is just trying to keep his kingdom running and his son safe when an elf is found with orcs at the border of Greenwood. Who could this mysterious elf truly be? But then the elf he rescued in the forest grows closer to Legolas, and Thranduil can not help but enjoy her company as well. Darkness descends over the forest, all because of this one elf. When lives are threatened, Thranduil must make a choice: his kingdom or his heart. 12/14/21- y'all I wrote this in high school and I kinda want to go through it again and do a bunch of editing. Some of my writing makes me cringe and what are we here for if not improvement. That being said, this story will change starting today probably and if you're in the middle of it, hopefully I don't confuse details or timelines for you.
