Tara Johnson knows overprotective dad like nobody else. At seventeen, Tara’s father believes she should be studying 24/7, doing ballroom dancing, and learning the proper etiquette of a lady. Mr. Johnson thinks there is no time for boys or anything else because they are a distraction. Tara’s mother will agree to anything that her husband says. Tara, however, disagrees completely. She disagrees so much that for the past six months, she has been betraying her parents and dating Blake, a boy in her grade that’s popular and athletic. Tara and Blake’s senior year is about to be over. Will she step up for their relationship or will she fall back and cower down to her father’s wishes? Will he even find out?
