Mr. Johnson thinks there is no time for boys or anything else because they are a distraction. Tara’s mother will agree to anything that her husband says. Tara, however, disagrees completely. She disagrees so much that for the past six months, she has been betraying her parents and dating Blake, a boy in her grade that’s popular and athletic.
