"Your heart is so loud, Juliet, "Maddox 's voice interrupts the deafening silence. I whip around quickly to shove him away but my hands slip through the empty air.

"You have to be quicker than that, My dear" His voice sings. The sound of him rotates around me as though he is observing me in the darkness.

"W-what do you want" I yell but the words leave my mouth as a whisper.

"You" Is the only word uttered until the lights flicker to life and I am standing in the center of the store the whole lot vacant beside my presence.
