Jacqueline (Jace) Frost is your run-of-the-mill sorta girl. She goes to an ordinary school, hangs out with ordinary friends, does ordinary stuff. But what she doesn't know is that she's far from ordinary. Known as the Amority, Jace was born with amazing powers that makes her predator número uno. Poisonous saliva, dagger sharp teeth, fingers that turn into claws that not even metal can stop, a built in GPS, and these are only a fraction of the host of abilities she now possesses. Why Jace wouldn't be surprised if she sprouted wings and tail and flew around in outer space wearing a bikini doing the cha-cha-cha. Those things could happen, you know. Oh, not to mention she can now see the supernatural. When she finds out about her powers a whole new world is open to her, including the Fae, Vampires, Werewolves, and other numerous creatures that Jace thought was 'little kid stuff', which may or may not be out to kill her. Confused and alone, Jace starts discovering that when you're in the top percentage of killers it's easy to let your instincts get ahold of you. Sadly for her, she found out the hard way. So when rogue vampire, Theodore(able) tells her he can teach her how to control her new found powers, a.k.a. 'curse', she jumps at the chance. But is Theodore really who she thinks he is? Or does he have a serious case of power lust? After all, vampires can hypnotize and are masters of the art of lying. Or is it wiser to trust the unlikely duo, Basil, an elf-fairy hybrid with serious trusting issues, and Caleb, a werewolf with a hair disorder and desperately in need of an anger management class (not that she should be speaking). What if life is only a postponement of death, after all, death is only a matter of time when you team up with an AMORITY.
