The clock glared at me as I glared at it right back.
I could be home right now catching sleep but no, someone made an appointment so I had to stay after my walk in duty for it. Normally I can head home after and keep working on commissions from home.
Which is why late clients aggravate me to no end.
Sighing I grab my laptop and start replying to e-mails and keeping track of all the works currently being commissioned, might as well be productive about this so not everyone needs to waste time today.
Like this dude now who can't seem to get his shit together. I double check for emails from him to see if there is anything about him being late.
Nope, Nada.
Somebody had a death wish it seems.
A wish I can happily grant.
Abracadabra poof, bye bye.

"You doubt my powers?" "Nope, you're just too stupid to realize that I'm gonna kick your ass." "Your arrogance will be your downfall!" "So you say, wiseguy. Now, shut up and let my fists do the talking." Ah, so I see you're back for round two. Good to know. Congratulations! You, yes you! My dear reader, you are holding my second journal of hilarity and peculiarity After the events of journal one, I had a lot on my plate. For starters, my team and I had a pesky demon problem to deal with in our home country of Alysia. Just when I thought I was finished mopping the floor with our daedric adversaries and that I was free to finally learn more about the strange, wondrous, and deadly world I had been introduced to, a new bad guy shows up and boy, he isn't messing around either. To continue the trend of going to strange places and doing even stranger things, my team and I do everything from helping a dragon priest knock out his asshole of a boss, dealing with a diplomatic crisis the only way we know best, to even traveling to the home country of my pointy-eared friends. (A.K.A the elves.) You knew it was going to happen, so prepare yourself for the continuation of... THE BLACKWYRM CHRONICLES Yours truly, -H (Special Note: This cover was drawn by my friend Miranda Mayes. She decided to draw Journal 2's cover for free, so yeah, she deserves recognition. She did a stellar job!)

(Warning: This story depicts subjects of violence, suicide, etc. If you aren't comfortable or are triggered by these subjects DON'T read this story! Thanks ^^) This story is based off a concept a friend of mine has, there's going to be a few fanmade characters for the story to spice it up a bit. All art are mine, I'll try to make an artwork for each chapter. I hope you guys enjoy it. Now for the story description thingy that isn't actually a full story description(?): "Be happy, Emerson. You've been looking so sad all week and we miss you being happy.". Emerson suddenly feels a bit frustrated, the sleep deprivation isn't helping, "Guys I'm seriously not sad, I'm just very tired. How come you guys are going to immediately assume my depression is getting worse? You guys always get me this all the time when you suspect it so don't play dumb.". Remington gives a dramatic sigh and Sebastian shakes his head a bit, both of them seem set on Emerson just being sad. Yes, he did give the impression he was but that's to hide the truth. "You lose sleep when your mood changes sometimes, ya know..", Sebastian states, in a very broad manner. Emerson looks down before glaring at them, "What the h-ll?! I'm not sad!". "Then what is it?", Remington asks in a rather frustrated tone. Emerson waves his hand upwards, "Don't worry about it right now, I'm not ready to talk about it.", He says. He then walks out and goes to his room, setting the box of chocolate on his nightstand. His gaze turns to his bed where Clockwork lays against his pillow. A happy childhood, a so-so adolescence. Then adulthood arrived, and everything went to hell. And by everything, I mean it. Grown-up life is truly a wonderful, dazzling adventure! A job that drains your soul, stripping away any will to live while fueling a more or less justified homicidal instinct; depression knocking at the door with a lovely bouquet of red roses; and, last but not least, the remnants of a social life buried somewhere under my shoes. Not the ones I'm wearing now; those are slippers, big difference. I mean the other ones. The ones in the cabinet that I haven't touched in five years. Love can be destructive. It catches you, ensnares you, devours you, and if you're unlucky enough, it leaves you standing in nothing but your underwear before reducing you to ashes. I had made peace with my "and she lived single, forever unhappy but safe" fate. A house, one, four, eight, maybe twenty cats-to meet expectations-and a future as flat as a heart monitor that's given up the ghost. No joys, minimal suffering, because there's only so much a heart can take before it calls it quits. And honestly? Fuck it, I'd been through enough. ... But he changed everything. In the worst, most terrifying way possible. From this abyss, I may never climb back out.
