Long ago a battle was waged against all the clans. Brother against brother, clan against clan. And one turned against the warrior code. The war tore apart the forest with bloodshed and death unparalleled before. Ultimately, at the cost of Hazeclan's banishment from the forest, peace was restored.
Seemingly Hazeclan vanished without a trace, but now the darkness that was battled long ago by their ancestors has returned with dark and powerful ambitions. Six clan cats, chosen by Starclan and with the power of their ancestors must face the oncoming darkness that threatens to crush the clans once and for all.

A fire. Caused by twolegs. And suddenly Nightpaw's entire life as she knows it has changed. The four clans that had ruled the territories for centuries have been wiped out. Now the future for any sort of clan rests in the paws of four apprentices. They will need to find a new territory, a new place to communicate with StarClan and, most importantly, cats to form a clan with. Will they survive?
