The Lost Pet (Laito Sakamaki x Reader)

After many years of abuse from her mother, (Y/n) has come to the conclusion that love does not exist...not for her, anyway. She has accepted the fact that she's unwanted. When she's kicked out of the house and left to die, she finds a tiny bit of fight left deep within her, and struggles to find a place to stay so she can hopefully nurture herself back to health.

Unfortunately (or maybe not so unfortunately), she is found by a mysterious man with the greenest eyes she's even seen, and he takes her back to his mansion with the promise to take care of her.

Slowly but surely, a bond is formed between them, and they both discover that maybe there is such thing as true love.
