Tears are streaming down her face. After carefully setting down her suicide note that she's written and rewritten over and over, she pops open the pill bottle. She takes a deep, shaky breath, grabs a handful and swallows them. She settles into her cover for the last time, turns off the light for the last time, wipes a tear falling from her face for the last time, and slowly closes her eyes. And for the last time, the girl thinks goodbye.
This short story depicts the events that follow after that.

I stood on the edge of the rooftop. My eyes closed and my mind free. I'm ready. Now is the time. I could feel my breath quickening, Breathe in, Breathe out.
