Nearing the edge of the cliff, the girl carefully crept away, creating a huge gap between her and the cliff, wanting to run away from the dreaded place that held so many memories, memories she wanted to escape from. Past images cloud her thoughts. Haunting her. Waiting for her walls to fall. And then, a savior from her ghosts, the muscular figure and medium sized frame creating a shadow over her tiny one, her thoughts quickly scattering as she gasps in surprise.

“Wha- what are you doing here?” she stutters. “Looking for you,” Suddenly remembering why she was here in the first place, she stands up, making sure to grab her things, looks at him for a split second, and runs. Far away from the past. Far away from her friends and family. Far away from the pressure. Far away from Justin Marks.
