Matthew is the Grimm Reaper. His job is to collect and judge souls. He's always stayed hidden from most spirits. When his husband, Jack Frost, and the Guardians drop in on his fight with a couple of summer spirits suddenly the Guardians take an interest in him. As he gets to know the Guardians better, Pitch starts stealing souls again.

The Guardians have a visit from there old Guardian friend,but Jack doesn't quite get along. There are a lot of ups and downs in there new and interesting love-hate relationship but as soon as things are starting to look good a new villain rises. The Guardians must do their job to save the children once again but with the help from someone quite unexpected.

Claire, is a young woman who believes in the guardians, though she has not met them, she knows Jack Frost since she was little, and hangs out with him. But what happens when she meets the guardians along with Jack.

Ella Snow wakes up with snow powers and no memory. She finds a boy in the same situation as her and they instantly become friends. This boy is Jack Frost. Three hundred years later the children of the world are in danger. The Guardians need Ella and Jack's help. Can they stop the Boogeyman known as Pitch and what is Jack not telling Ella?
