This is the first of three book and each will take a perspective a character from Detroit. This book is in the perspective of Connor.
(Possible spoilers ahead for some.)
It's the year 2041 this story is based after the ending of all characters surviving:
Markus-
Successfully won rights for androids with zero violence.
Connor-
Manages to break free from cyberlife's control and joined Hank after assisting Markus in the rebellion.
Kara-
She Left to Canada with Alice and Luthor, crossing the border after sacrificing Jerry and they haven't been seen since.
