This is the first of three book and each will take a perspective a character from Detroit. This book is in the perspective of Connor.

Successfully won rights for androids with zero violence.
Connor-
Manages to break free from cyberlife's control and joined Hank after assisting Markus in the rebellion.
Kara-
She Left to Canada with Alice and Luthor, crossing the border after sacrificing Jerry and they haven't been seen since.

Moving to Detroit had been good for Frankie. She'd managed to get her dream job, working with a partner who had been an idol of hers since she'd first heard his name whispered in the hallways... even if it had been laced with pity for a loss no parent should ever have to live with. A man who more often than not finds himself trying to pull her back from recklessness and encouraging her to think a little more before rushing into things. The only thing that had really taken some getting used to was the sheer amount of androids; the fact that despite how human they looked, some people could treat them with such disrespect, was a baffling thing for her. Currently, you investigated human crimes. Recently, you've been given the task of investigating cases involving deviant androids. The sudden change from investigating humans to androids is going to be tough to get used to, but you knew you could handle it. They also decided to partner you up with Hank Anderson, which surprised you considering he hated androids. You had nothing against androids, unlike you're partner, Hank. You had no reason to hate them, they had never done anything to wrong you. Most of them are actually quite nice, not counting the deviants. Hank had always been like a father to you, and like any other human he would easily get upset and angered, sometimes even lashing out on you.
