Alexis Landon was a normal twenty five year old. She had her own place, her wonderful, supportive family, and an advancing career as a scientist. She couldn't as for anything better.  But then things got chaotic.  A man, scary, solemn, ragged and heavily bleeding, appears at her doorstep asking for help. Well, in the middle of the night, what else do you do? She decides to take him in, for what she thinks is just one night.  But get this, the stranger has a metal arm, and secrecy beyond anyone Alexis has ever met. Fear and impulse soon take over her strategic brain as she assists this stranger, this man named James Buchanan Barnes.  Little does she know, this isn't her last encounter with James, and his hectic past reveals hidden truths, undeniable betrayal, and even a bit of unknown affection. What all happens to the happy girl and her perfect image? I guess you'll have to read to find out.   { this takes place after CATWS, so there will be spoilers. }

A Maybank and A Cameron? It's almost like a modern Romeo and Juliet. It's forbidden for them to be together. Could be the end of the world. The stolen glances, the hidden feelings, the unspoken words, the secret meetings and the obvious hatred towards each other followed by constant conflicts and some hidden past that threatened them but there are always invisible strings tied and pulling them together no matter how hard the tides trying to pull and part them away from each other.
