Ellen came to Pandora to study its oceans and wildlife, not to be dragged into a war. A former soldier turned scientist, she wanted nothing more than to explore the wonders of the alien world, but when she's captured alongside Jake Sully by the Omatkaya, her mission takes a drastic turn. Among her captors is Tsu'tey, a fierce and loyal warrior who sees her as nothing more than a threat. To him, she represents everything he despises about humans; destruction, arrogance, and betrayal. Cold and unyielding, he makes it clear she has no place among his people. But as the days pass and she proves herself in ways he never expected, his hatred begins to waver. Torn between duty and something far more dangerous, Tsu'tey must decide whether to trust the woman he swore to despise. And as Pandora's war looms ever closer, Ellen must confront the question she never thought she'd have to ask: Is she willing to fight for a world that may never accept her?
