When their bonded ones had sent them away to safety, allowing themselves to be slaughtered instead by the wicked King Zoilos, the dragons fled to the only place they knew they could be safe. A mysterious island in the cold north eastern sea ways. The island of Dragonvale becomes a haven for all kinds of dragons, led by the great dragon himself, Kotai and his mate Tezza. Their seven eggs lay dormant, waiting for a hatcher to help insure the longevity of their species. But how long must they wait? And what must they endure while they wait?
