Known for most of her life by the people who made her as experiment 101, compassion love and all sense of joy seem impractical and unreachable for Nova. What's stranger is that Nova can't believe how much stronger and more confident Kane makes her feel. Suddenly Nova begins to see a new, darker path open for her. 

But she is afraid to take that step. That step would be walking away from the ones she loved and everything she knows. Will Nova learn to accept who she is and decide to join Kane or will she choose her first love and the family she has only known?
