One brother became a nation's personification, and never saw the other again.
The other was sealed away, in a box forever lost to the world.
Now, the little brother has been found. And Big Brothers not letting him go again.
{Basically sorta an AU where Alfred and Matthew are unaware they are personifications, and then Alfred's sealed away in a box for a few hundred years, and Matthew grows up to become Canada! But then bad stuff happens basically.

Arranged Marriage. People grimace at those words. Especially the countries of the world. Forcing people to get married and love each other. They hated the idea. However the world is on the verge of WW3. The only way it can be prevented is an arranged marriage between a one country from each side. The allies don't know what to do, everyone in allies has a long history of bad blood between the opposing side. Nobody wanted to go though with it. Matthew, also known as Canada, agreed. Canada is a large nation that is passive aggressive and very unnoticed. He goes as the country to be married. Gilbert, also known as Prussia, also agreeded. Prussia is a country the was presumed to be dissolved but, there is a small area of land that counts as Prussia's territory. He is the other country to be married. They dont know much about each other and didn't know they would be getting married at all. However, Wouldn't it be strange if an arranged marrige to stop a war turned out to be a perfect couple? {STORY DISCONTINUED and I'm probably never gonna finish it whoops} The world is ending, obviously. America never really paid attention to the news, only Good Morning America, of course, but when the flooding and crippling storms started in the south and worked their way to D.C., he got nervous. There were warnings, scientists predicted the amount of blah, blah, science, science, random crap, big words. . . World catastrophe. The Storm. Bunkers and shelters were built, supplies were stocked, factories and farmers worked around the clock before the Storm could hit them. One might think the United States was prepping for war, and in a way, they were. They had to fight for their lives. Alfred is alone in a bunker, panicking for his people and brothers and the rest of the countries like Japan and Germany. He hears a distant muffled sound above the howling winds, a frightened little boy sits in the corner with an old stuffed bunny sucking his thumb. No one notices him. How is America supposed to protect hundreds of people and himself against a storm that could kill people in a number of ways? And now a kid had moved him to become his caretaker. When Alfred became independent from England, France had muttered to him that he didn't know the pain of raising a child then losing it. But know, he assumes that he may just learn. Noticed~ A PruCan fanfiction
This is my first fanfiction. It's mostly PruCan. There may be other Hetalia shippings too. Canada is never noticed at world meetings. That is, until a certain Prussian notices him asking if he could stay with him for a while. Canada, being his nice self, happily allows Prussia to stay with him for awhile. While Canada and Prussia are living together many things happen. Their relationship grows closer as events happen. They both grow feelings for each other, but the other doesn't know.
