He kept walking up the hill that seemed to go on forever, until he stood staring at very large stones that stood on both of his sides. They continue to go on deep beneath the ground. Some kind of energy buzzed through him that appeared to come from the large stones. They had symbols carved into them. It was from a much older tongue. He didn't know that much, so he just walked in past the stones. The feeling got stronger and pulled him. He was drawn to it, and that made him angry, but made him curious as to what is was. The forest was dense, it would be impossible to find your way in the night. Luckily he had eyes that could see very well, even in the night. So the darkness didn't bother him at all. It would become dark soon. His insides burned from desire, he had no idea where that came from, and it was as if his senses were heightened. That hasn't happened to him before. The forest got darker as time passed. He didn't understand why one would go into the forest, they could get lost easily, but then again it was a good hiding place. The feeling was getting very strong, it was like it was nudging him in the direction it came from, it must be close now, and he kept walking but faster. He wants answers. There was a large bush in his way, so he pushed it aside and walked through it and ended up staring at a woman naked in a stream, aiming an arrow right at him. He threw his hand up in a gesture to show the woman that he meant her no harm. "Easy now, lass. I mean you no harm." He said calmly, but she was like fire that came from hell. "Who are you? What the devil are you doing here?" she said with anger that could burn you from the inside out.

When I was little, my mother used to tell me stories about an ancient world that contained mystical and strange creatures -created by the gods it was supposed to divide the humans and the creatures. Her stories were mostly about brave Guardians that had the obligation of protecting the other world. This world was to be called the Portal World. As I grew up in difficult conditions I dismissed all those ideas out of my head. Tales are for children and nothing of it was true. Or so I thought. Until the day the guy I hated the most saved me from imminent death. *** Deep in my being an unbearable anger scattered itself through my body. I clenched my fists. A violent jerk started building up to my vocal cords. I gritted my teeth to keep it under control but in vain my lips began to move. "My life is not an Illusion!" The small crowd still gathered inside the café went silent as they all turned to see what was happening. I bit my lip in embarrassment. Jack slowly turned around and instantly met my eyes. "You'd be surprised", he stated with a disturbing twinkle in his eyes. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Thank you for stopping at this book.
