Sticks and stones have broken our bones, they say we'll heal. She scarred us too.
Isa is gone. There's nothing anyone can do to bring her back. It is difficult to understand. Difficult to let it be true. Even though Isa cannot be brought back, her friends can. In a way they know she was gone long before they could no longer see her face, her eyes. But that wasn't as bad as now. Now she is gone forever, no hope of finding her again. It's unimaginable.
