[SUPERHERO AU, with prinxiety and logicality!]

roman is the sun. virgil is the moon.

roman is bright! he's bold! he's daring and dashing and... jarring. he's vivid green grass, he's swallows dipping and dancing, racing the line between light and shadow. he's a summer sky. he's loud, he's proud, he's the star of the show - yes, roman is the sun.

virgil is softer, darker, and with some kind of bitter aftertaste, like cigarettes and coffee. he's silent, watching, waiting, observing the world as it rushes past with the glassy eyes of a cat. but he's never still - he's constantly tap-tap-tapping and fidgeting in his seat and chewing his nails down to the beds. he's anxious, afraid, forever on the edge, and yet... he's invisible. faded. always present, but never really there. yes, virgil is the moon - slender, pale, beautiful. but not quite there.

it's quite simple, really: roman wants to fly high, virgil wants to disappear.

the powers come slowly, but surely nonetheless

and they're certainly not what either boy was expecting.
