Dim Witted

Given the choice between light, and dark, most everyone would choose light. For a select few, however, darkness holds a mystery. An adventure. A chance to see something few people do. They are the Dims. So politely called dim-wits by their much brighter cousins, they rarely see light.
Sunny couldn't even fathom being a Dim. They lived on the outskirts of her town, Optimist, and they are not known to be very friendly. But being friendly is what a good society thrives off of... Isn't it?
Dusk can't even remember what being a stuck up Ablaze was like. How they hadn't gone blind from that much light is shocking to him.
When a light bulb meets a dark room, the room becomes brighter. This is a fact. But when dark meets light, A Dim meets an Ablaze, Sunny meets Dusk, will it have the same effect?
